William “Rusty” Gaffney, otherwise known as “the Prince of Pinot,” wrote in his publication the PinotFile: “Moderately light ruby red color in the glass. Shy earthbound aromas of clay and flora with a hint of dark berries. Light to mid weight in style, offering an assortment of dark red and purple fruits backed by complimentary oak. Forward drinking, with adequate structure for aging, and noticeable finishing persistence.”
