Located in Northern Humboldt County, the vineyard farmer has an incredible store of knowledge and experience. The grapes, nebbiolo and barbera, are dry-farmed on a bench above the river so there is no added irrigation, no till and no runoff. The remote vineyard is tended by hand and the only spray used is sulfur, an organic mildew solution used for centuries.
