Mendocino Ridge

Mendocino Ridge is adjacent to the Pacific, characterized by its tall peaks that rise above the fog line. The high elevations, peaks over 1200 feet, create optimal sun conditions without the threat of frost. Afternoon breezes keep the ridge vines cooler than in the valleys below resulting in fruit forward wines with high acidity and a strong tannic backbone. Because of the limited acreage, these wines are naturally limited in quantity.
