Originally planted in the 1970’s with a sparkling clone of chardonnay, today the Abbassi vineyard consists of 80% pinot noir grapes. There is minimal runoff thanks to the 2% slope and the addition of a pond onsite collects rainwater for irrigation. Their personal connection to the vineyard means that their eyes are on the longterm and keeping their environment clean.
